HI, I’M SAM.

Graphic designer, calligrapher,
illustrator, and maker of many things.

I’ve been creative since I was little—taking drawing and music lessons, and making creations on my grandmother's sewing machine. I explored my interest in the arts further throughout high school, graduating with an Arts Plus Certificate, then receiving my BDes Hons at York University.

Over the years, my work exhibited a strong connection to handmade objects and processes, but my love affair with pixels never faded. Thus began the pursuit to achieve a beautiful balance between digital and physical.

Whether I’m working with pixels or paper, I love making visions a reality.

My professional work covers all phases of the creative process: conceptualization, strategy, direction, and execution, primarily focused on brand development and marketing collateral. I work closely with businesses and individuals to bring their visions to life. I also spend a great deal of time doing event work, as an on-site artist, a reviewer and panelist for portfolio critiques, and leading creative workshops.

My work has been featured by popular brands and figures such as Real Simple, Apartment Therapy, and Swiss Miss, as well as published in Weddingbells, UPPERCASE, THIS Magazine, and I Heart Stationery.
